Dear Supporters,

🚨 FINAL CHANCE TO OBJECT – ACT NOW OR LOSE YOUR SAY!
Your objection from last summer does not count — that was for the second round consultation.
This is the THIRD and FINAL consultation. If you don’t object now, your voice won’t be heard.

⏳ Local Plan Consultation Closes In:

12 Days – 8 Hours

📌 What’s Proposed? (Regulation 19 Recap)

16a – Hammonds Farm

  • 3,000 homes
  • 500,000 sq ft of industrial/warehouse units

16b – Pigeon (Columba Park)

  • 500,000 sq ft of industrial space
  • 88 HGV docking bays

This will turn our rural countryside into urban sprawl.

📝 Why You Must Object Again

10,000+ people objected in 2024 — but they must do it again.
✅ This consultation began on 4 February and closes at 4pm on 18 March.

📢 It’s not a done deal.
Chelmsford City Council plans to push through unsustainable growth while better options have been ignored.

❗ Key Concerns:

  • Traffic Chaos – A414 & A12 can’t cope
  • Environmental Damage – Wildlife & habitats at risk
  • Loss of Farmland – Irreversible damage to our green spaces
  • Flawed Process – Legal and democratic failings
  • Flood Risk – Increased flooding risk not properly addressed

✅ What You Need to Do

We’ve made it easy with our pre-filled objection form:
👉 Submit your objection now

You’ll be asked about:

  1. Legal Compliance
  2. Duty to Co-operate
  3. Soundness of the Plan

Please personalise the intro of each section to reflect your own views — but don’t change the evidence, which is approved by our legal team.

💷 GoFundMe Update

Thanks to your support, we’ve raised £29,673 towards our £55,000 target.
This covers:

  • Legal representation
  • Environmental and planning consultants
  • Expert witness support
